I don’t have the stones, endurance or physical capacity to try my hand at the sport of boxing. I’m awed by anyone who embraces that grueling mental and physical undertaking.
Except this guy.
This guy may be the only boxer whose exited the ring without my utmost respect.
His name is Kaywann Sistrunk. One minute and 10 seconds into his third round of a four-round super lightweight battle against Sevelle Hasan, Sistrunk decided he’d had enough.
The 22-year-old took a right hook from Hasan, sending him to the mat. Seconds later, he popped up under his own power, spit out his mouthguard, and walked out of the ring, forfeiting the match.

There has to be some legitimate reason for this behavior, right? This is the only explanation I will accept:

If it’s any comfort to Kaywann, at least he’s not heavyweight Curtis Harper, who in August walked out of the ring the second the bell rang. Harper was set to fight the formidable Nigerian Efe Ajagba, who KO’d all five opponents he faced before his match with Harper. Harper reportedly walked out in protest of pay.

This dude makes Kaywann look like a goddamn warrior. All about perspective.
