Roughly a month ago, the Washington Wizards took on the Orlando Magic near the end of the regular season.

Allegedly, Bradley Beal got into an altercation with some fans at the arena and now a lawsuit is being filed against him.

However, TMZ reports that Beal’s attorney, Dan Morgan, is bashing the lawsuit in question. He calls it, “‘frivolous litigation’ — while promising ‘there will be no settlement’ with the accuser.”

Morgan provides a more lengthy statement on the issue at hand.

“No charges have been filed and he is now trying to change the narrative. We will make sure the standard is clear — you can’t harass people, call them racial slurs, talk about their family, insult their character… and then turn around a sue them on top of that.”

The lawsuit against Bradley Beal was filed on Tuesday, April 18, per TMZ. Kyler Briffa, the man filing the suit, alleges, “Beal got physical with during a March 21 altercation inside Amway Arena in Orlando, Florida.”

According to TMZ, “Briffa claims things were going fine — until his friend made a comment to Beal about losing a bet during the game.”

Briffa continues to claim that “Beal ‘stopped, turned around, walked back toward the unsuspecting [Briffa] and without a word, intentionally struck the side of [Briffa’s] head knocking his hat off of his head,'” per TMZ.

For now, these allegations remain just that. We’ll see how this all plays out, as it’s unclear what will transpire from the lawsuit against Bradley Beal.

At the very least, Beal did acknowledge the incident happened during an interview at the end of the regular season.

With that said, keep an eye on Bradley Beal throughout the offseason. Hopefully, this issue gets resolved sooner, rather than later.
