Former NFL WR Brandon Marshall played for 7 teams in the NFL and 2 in the division against the New England Patriots. He was one of the best wide receivers in the game during his reign but his teams still came up short against Tom Brady and the Patriots. Suffice it to say, Brandon Marshall has no love for New England.

On the flip side, former Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman is one of the most revered Pats wide receivers in the history of that organization. Edelman won 3 Super Bowls with Tom Brady and the Patriots and won’t buy a beer in the city of Boston as long as he’s alive.

Prior to the recent Week 11 matchup between the New York Jets and the New England Patriots, Brandon Marshall and Julian Edelman made a ‘tattoo bet’. Edelman obviously took the Pats and Brandon Marshall took the Jets, and the loser had to get a tattoo of the other team’s logo.

The Patriots just barely beat the Jets 22-17 in Week 8. Then the Patriots did it again and beat the Jets 10-3 in Week 11 and Brandon Marshall has now gotten his new Patriots tattoo on his arm.

Here is the video of them making the bet with Marshall’s new tattoo below:

Julian Edelman posted this to Instagram saying that Brandon Marshall ‘is a man of his word’.

If you scroll through that Instagrm gallery you can see how fresh the new Patriots tattoo is.

Former New England Patriots safety Devin McCourty commented “that looks good on you @bmarshall” and former Patriots long snapper Lonie Paxton wrote “love it.” All sorts of other NFL players hopped in the comments to share their thoughts as well.
