Brazil Scored A Goal So Good Against South Korea That Even The Manager Had To Dance In Celebration

Brazil entered the 2022 FIFA World Cup as one of the prohibitive favorites to win the whole thing. The Brazilians have not won a World Cup since 2002. But halfway through this year’s tournament, the Seleção look like a serious threat to claim a record sixth tournament win.

They began the tournament with an impressive 2-0 victory over Serbia, including perhaps the goal of the tournament from Tottenham Hotspur forward Richarlison. Brazil then took a more measured approach in its second game, picking a 1-0 win to secure first place in Group B.

But an injury to Paris Saint-Germain superstar Neymar put the country’s tournament hopes in doubt. While the Brazilian winger recovered, his team took a 1-0 loss to Cameroon in the final game of the group stage. But by that point, the Brazilians had already locked down their place in the knockout round of the tournament.

They began that phase of play on Monday against Group H runner-up, South Korea. And they did so in extremely impressive fashion.

Brazil’s Third Goal Against South Korea Was So Good That Even Manager Tite Started Dancing

It didn’t take long for Brazil to take control against the South Koreans. Richarlison scored his third goal of the tournament in just the seventh minute of the match.

Just six minutes later, a returning Neymar scored his first goal of the tournament on a penalty kick to make it 2-0.

The third goal, however, was the best of the bunch. A fantastic string of passes led to the ball eventually finding its way back to Richarlison for the forward’s fourth goal of the tournament.

It was such a nice goal that even 61-year-old manager Tite had to join in on the celebration, dancing with the rest of his team.

As if that weren’t enough, West Ham midfielder Lucas Paqueta got in on the fun with Brazil’s fourth and final goal of the first half.

Brazil currently holds a 4-0 in the late minutes of the match and is looking like a juggernaut rolling into the quarterfinals against Croatia.
