Brazilians are pretty pissed off at US goalkeeper Hope Solo after she made a series of tweets about how she was going to prevent herself from getting the Zika virus while she was in Rio.

Solo’s tweets were from two weeks ago but the Brazilian crowd at hand during today’s Olympic opener between USA and New Zealand hadn’t forgotten about them and loudly booed the US goalkeeper whenever she touched the ball.’

Later in the game the crowd broke out a “Zika” chant while Solo was kicking the ball.

Seems like Hope is going to have to deal with the hostile crowd throughout her time in Rio.
