Spit Flies Everywhere As Brian Ferentz FREAKS OUT On Referee Over Controversial Costly Fumble

Brian Ferentz has literally nothing to lose at this point in his soon-to-be over tenure at Iowa. He will not be returning to the Hawkeyes staff next season.

Ironically, the lame duck offensive coordinator showed the most fight he has shown all season in the Big Ten Championship game. It only took all season!

A controversial fumble in the third quarter led to an easy Michigan touchdown. There was a legitimate case to be made that Deacon Hill’s arm was coming forward before the ball was knocked loose. The officials ruled that it was a loose ball and that the Wolverines recovered.

Ferentz disagreed. To say the least. His angry tirade led him to be flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct.

Spit was flying everywhere as he yelled “that’s f—— b——-” at the referee. His words were clear as day.

Blake Corum scored the first offensive touchdown of the game shortly thereafter. Any hope for the Hawkeyes was pretty much dead.

Ferentz’s offense was terrible, as has been the case all season. Iowa’s defense played out of its mind. They kept the team in the game throughout the first half and through most of the third quarter.

He is going to step down from his role on his father’s staff for a reason. This was more of the same!

Sportsbooks were so down on Ferentz’s ability to score points that it set his team’s first half total Over/Under at 0.5. The Under hit. Sportsbooks set the second half total Over/Under at 2.5.

Ferentz has been truly abysmal. Tory Taylor and Phil Parker’s defense somehow won 10 games with very minimal, if any, help from their offense.

Saturday’s sideline freak-out was the cherry on top of the last six seasons. You simply could not write it any better.

College football is the gift that keeps on giving. We will miss Brian Ferentz next year. Appreciate him while you can!
