Brian Kelly Ripped To Shreds Over His Comments About LSU’s Embarrassing Loss To FSU

LSU head coach Brian Kelly’s postgame comments after his team got embarrassed during their season-opening game aren’t sitting well with some fans.

Before the game, a confident Kelly said that the LSU Tigers would “beat the heck” out of the Florida State Seminoles on Sunday night.

“There are still areas that are going to need to be improved. We’re going to take 15 freshmen on this trip and 14 transfers so nearly 40% of this travel roster are going to go overnight for the first time with LSU. And that’s not a disclaimer of any kind, we’re going to beat the heck out of Florida State,”

Unfortunately for Kelly, LSU got absolutely manhandled in a blowout loss to FSU.

While speaking to the media, Kelly ripped his team’s cocky attitude going into the game.

“For some reason, we thought we were something else. We thought we were the 2-time defending national champion Georgia Bulldogs. We were mistaken.”
