Oh Windy, Windy, Windy, what the hell are we going to do with you?
ESPN reporter Brian Windhorst tried to make a funny today when talking about how LeBron James no longer follows him on Twitter, but how James still happens to follow Rachel Nichols. Normally, nothing bad about that, right? Well, Windhorst followed that up with a dumbass comment after being asked how that made him feel—and Nichols ripped him to shreds for it.

Using the term “sliding into her DMs” to prove that, I guess, he’s hip to the millennial culture, Windy was forced to apologize immediately after the blunder, even going as far as to admitting that, based off of Rachel Nichols’ reaction, he probably didn’t know what it really meant.
For you uncool kids out there, the saying is a reference to a person, usually a man, messaging a lady individually on social media to try and flirt. Otherwise, lots of thirst on display.
Red in the face and ashamed like a puppy who just wet the floor, Brian Windhorst was put in his rightful place after this one.
