Bro Sets Capri Sun Speed Drinking Record And We Have A Whole Lot Of Questions

You’ve probably never heard the name Fayis Nazer.

But Fayis Nazer is the legend you never knew exist.

The Indian man set a Guinness World Record recently for drinking a Capri Sun in the fastest time possible.

Nazer’s record time was a blindingly fast 8.02 seconds. But we’ve got some serious questions here.

For one, it appears that in order to be a valid record, the drinker must use the attached straw and the straw must be attached to the drink pouch prior to consuming the drink.

But surely there has to be a better way, right? Couldn’t Nazer have removed the straw and its packing in on fell swoop? Or could he just poke through both the straw packaging and drink pouch in one single stab?

8.02 may seem fast. I mean, it’s a Guinness World Record. But as Guinness World Records go, it seems extremely beatable.

And oddly specific?

Why Capri Sun?

Sure, it’s the GOAT of children’s juice boxes. But are there also records for the fastest Juicy Juice drink? A quick google search doesn’t seem to turn up anything.

What’s even more insane is that according to the World Wide Web, the previous record for fastest time to drink a Capri Sun was 16.65 seconds.

How is that even possible?

Was the record set by a sloth? Was said sloth blindfolded?!

16.65 seconds is a darn eternity.

Even that Somali runner from the World University Games thinks that time stinks.

So we’re putting out a challenge. Can you drink a Capri Sun (including straw removal, unpacking and use) in under 8.02?

Somebody out there HAS to be faster than this guy, right? (Sorry Fayis, we’re sure you’re a great guy)

With a week or two of training, and far too much sugar, we’re certain we could hit a sub-six second run.
