It’s pretty incredible how we pick up certain mannerisms and habits from those around us without even knowing it, and this video of Rory McIlroy and Brooks Koepka walking around a green at the PGA Championship is a great example of that.

The video also confirms that this simulation we call life is absolutely, 100% broken.

During the first round of the PGA Championship at Kiawah, McIlroy and Koepka were going through their green-reading routine and started their walk around the putting surface at the exact same time, and that is when things got weird.

Every single move they made during their walk is a mirror image of each other. Their arm swings are the same, their strides are the exact same, they turn their heads at the same exact time to look at the hole, and even their putter twirls occur at the same time.

Videos like these pop up every once in a while showing us all just how similar we all are, but this very well may be the freakiest one yet. The fact that Koepka and McIlroy turn and look at the hole at the same time, all while twirling the putter at the same moment, is mind-blowing.

Both McIlroy and Koepka have their own confident walks and demeanors that golf fans can recognize, but you can also see some Tiger Woods influence in the way they’re walking around the green. Woods has always strutted around greens like that twirling his putter every few steps.

Koepka and McIlroy may be emulating Woods without even knowing it.
