Two weeks ago, we were shocked to learn that Browns tight end David Njoku sustained burns on his face and arm – he suffered the injuries while trying to light the firepit in his backyard in his house.
Not a lot of details were uncovered at the time, but Njoku did play in the Ravens game on October 1st that Sunday, leading the team with 6 catches for 46 yards.
Now, David shars how his face looks like, and it’s a frightening sight. Hard to believe how he played an NFL game like that but he’s clearly really, really tough.

Njoku shared two images of his face in a recent Instagram post, as many fans were showing him support after the ordeal.
Njoku, the Browns’ 2017 first-round pick signed a sizeable contract extension with a 4-year, $56.75 million deal earlier this year – He’s racked up 222 career catches, for 2,510 yards, and 19 scores in his career.
Hopefully he makes a full recovery.
