Bryce Harper’s first inning HR sent Phillies fans into a frenzy, and it also helped one MLB bettor cash in on a $160K parlay. The homer had everyone screaming as Citizens Bank Park reached 111 decibels.

The City of Brotherly Love was an absolute madhouse after that start, and it wouldn’t quiet down with the Phillies going on to win Game 1 of the NLCS, 5-3.

Anticipation was at a high coming into the series opener with the home team having already knocked off the division rival Braves to get to this point. Atlanta posted the best record in baseball during the regular season but proved no match for Philadelphia in the NLDS.

As fans got to the park, many were seen sprinting to find their standing room only seats in hopes of getting the best view of the action on the field.

Those that found their spots quickly would be in for a treat.

Philadelphia got things started immediately after first pitch, plating runs in the first, second, and third innings. One of those runs came on a 420-foot no-doubter from Bryce Harper.

After having already seen teammate Kyle Schwarber leave the yard, Harper followed it up with a mammoth HR to right field. The reaction in the ballpark made it difficult to hear anything other than screaming Phillies fans.

For those wondering, that’s about the equivalent of a rock concert or jackhammer.

“In less than five minutes, hearing loss is probable.”

It wouldn’t quiet down anytime soon, as Nick Castellanos tacked on another home run to further increase the lead. The Phillies fans in attendance weren’t the only ones screaming, though.

Bettor cashes $160K parlay on Harper, Castellanos HRs.

One MLB bettor used three long balls from Harper, Castellanos, and Astros infielder Yordan Alvarez, plus a Trea Turner double to turn $200 into $160,000 – and it cashed in the first three innings of play.

Harper, Castellanos, and Turner each did their thing over the first three frames, with Harper and Schwarber leaving the yard in their first plate appearances. Yordan Alvarez did the same with a second-inning HR in the ALCS against the Rangers.

What a win for this sports bettor.
