Do you know how much Bryce Young weighs? Don’t fault yourself if not, because apparently, the incoming NFL rookie doesn’t what you to know.

According to reports, Young — who is projected to be a Top 5 pick in this year’s NFL Draft — did not weigh in during his Alabama Pro Day on Thursday afternoon.

His height was measured at the Scouting Combine as five feet, 10-1/8 inches… His weight at the Combine was 204 pounds. But he didn’t work out there. At his Pro Day, where he will work out, he declined to get back on the scale. [via ProFootballTalk]

This is notable, of course, because Young’s size — under 6 feet tall and weighing around 200 pounds — has reportedly been the biggest concern for teams considering making him their franchise quarterback.

A two-year starter at the University of Alabama, the former Heisman Trophy winner completed 64% of his passes for 3,328 yards, 32 touchdowns, and five interceptions during his final season in college.

His best year as a member of the Crimson Tide came during the 2021 season, as he completed 67% of his passes for a career-high 4,872 yards, 47 touchdowns, and seven interceptions.

For much of the offseason, Young was widely projected to be taken with the #1 overall pick. That has changed since the Chicago Bears traded the pick to the Carolina Panthers, who are reportedly eyeing Ohio State quarterback CJ Stroud.
