The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have had a brutal training camp so far. Not only is Tom Brady away for some time (although the team doesn’t seem worried about that), but they also lost starting center Ryan Jensen to an injury.
Then, the Buccaneers saw another concerning injury occur on Thursday, this time to another offensive lineman: Tristan Wirfs.
Now Tristan Wirfs is taken off with some sort of left core injury after a pass rush drill. Trainer Bobby Slater is busy.

Just a couple of weeks before, Tampa Bay also got a scare involving Wirfs. However, that injury turned out to be nothing major, and he was able to return.
The good news are that it appears Wirfs was simply cramping and it's not injury-related. We'll have more updates later.

On the other hand, this new injury could be significant, although there is no clear update on what happened to Wirfs.
If he is forced to miss time, then the Buccaneers will need to hit the free agent market again to shore up the front of the offensive line.
Still, Tampa Bay fans are highly concerned about Wirfs leaving practice with an injury.

There’s a possibility that this is nothing major for Wirfs, but still, this is another concerning turn of events for the Buccaneers. Wirfs is one of the best young linemen in Tampa Bay and would be a massive loss for the team.
A new era begins for the Carolina Panthers. 👀https://t.co/y6QEd4aajm

We will keep an eye out for an injury update on this front.
