Bud Light is making major moves in the sports world after facing backlash earlier this year.

On Tuesday, Bud Light’s parent company Anheuser-Busch announced they were signing a massive deal with the UFC that is being described as the biggest sponsorship deal in UFC history.

According to Yahoo Sports Kevin Iole, the UFC’s deal with Anheuser-Busch to make Bud Light the official beer of the UFC is worth over $100 million.

The UFC announced Tuesday a new sponsorship deal with Anheuser-Busch that makes Bud Light the “official beer partner of the UFC,” replacing Modelo. A source familiar with the terms not authorized to speak publicly told Yahoo Sports that the deal, which takes effect on Jan. 1, is worth in excess of $100 million.

The UFC had a previous sponsorship deal with Anheuser-Busch that expired in 2019. It was replaced by Modelo.

After facing boycotts over their partnership with trans activist Dylan Mulvaney, the beer company appears to be shifting towards sports.

Before the start of the NFL season, Bud Light signed several NFL players, including Travis Kelce, to promote their beer.
