LSU wide receiver Malik Nabers claims to know who the Buffalo Bills are targeting to replace Stefon Diggs. It is not him, but his teammate.

Will Brian Thomas Jr. end up in the AFC East?!

Bills GM Brandon Beane joked that his team is going to select a pass-catcher with every single pick in the upcoming NFL Draft. He doubled down on that notion after Diggs was shipped off to the Texans.

Although Beane was speaking with tongue in cheek, it seems inevitable that Buffalo will draft at least one wide receiver next month. This year’s class is extremely deep and his team is not. After trading Diggs and allowing Gabriel Davis to walk, only Dalton Kincaid, Khalil Shakir, Dawson Knox and Deonte Harty remain as non-running backs who caught more than 10 passes last season.

Needless to say, wide receiver will be a point of emphasis.

The Bills currently hold the No. 28 pick. However, they have a history of trading up and that could absolutely happen again this year. Nabers, Marvin Harrison Jr. and Rome Odunze may not hear their names called until pick five or later if the expected run on quarterbacks occurs.

Buffalo may trade up to get one of the three biggest names. Nabers claims that another name is more firmly in the mix.

He believes Brian Thomas Jr. will end up on the Bills.

Thomas, who led the FBS with 17 receiving touchdowns in 2023, spent the last three seasons in Baton Rouge with Nabers. He is considered by many to be the fourth best wide receiver in this year’s class behind the aforementioned three, ahead of Adonai Mitchell, Ladd McConkey, Troy Franklin, Roman Wilson, Ricky Pearsall and Jermain Burton.

Does his teammate know something about the Buffalo Bills or was he just playing around? We’ll find out!
