With his Virginia Tech Hokies locked in a one-point game during yesterday’s ACC Tournament game against Miami, Buzz Williams decided he had better things to do than instruct his players.
He wandered over to a girl shooting free throws for a chance at $500 and gave her his full and undivided attention.
Hey, why not?
The Hokies would go on to lose, 59-49. They finished a woeful 11-22 on the year.
But this girl’s form has never been better — even thought it appears she bricked both of these attempts.
Gotta look for the silver lining.
