There’s a strong argument to be made that Indiana Fever superstar Caitlin Clark is the most skilled player to ever step foot into the WNBA.

Clark is a skilled passer. She’s a skilled shooter and even a highly skilled ball handler. But if a recent video posted on the Fever’s social media accounts is any indication, there’s one skill that Clark most certainly does not possess: how to properly fold a t-shirt.

Over the past week or so, Indiana has posted Instagram videos of each of its players participating in the “Fever Time Trials.”

The event consists of multiple skill games involving obstacles, ping pong balls, and cup stacking. But it also involves another element: t-shirt folding. And despite breezing through all of the other challenges, it was the shirt folding that seemed to trip up Clark.

Caitlin Clark Folds A T-Shirt Like An Absolute Maniac

By the end of the video, Clark set a highly respectable time of 37.67, which, after a cursory scroll of the other players’ attempts, looks to be one of the better times on the team.

However, upon further review, she may well face a post-race penalty after fans discovered that her attempt at folding the t-shirt didn’t exactly look right.

In fact, Clark didn’t even come close to folding the shirt the way that is commonly accepted.

Now, admittedly, there are a few different common ways to fold a t-shirt. However, her way didn’t look like any of them.

And fans were quick to take notice of the failure.

“I love CC, but she DID NOT fold that shirt 😭,” one reply on Instagram read.

Her boyfriend (former Iowa basketball player Connor McCaffery) definitely does the laundry,” said another.

It didn’t take long for the video to break contain and move over to X, as did the criticism of Clark’s folding skills.

“Ok, who is folding shirts like this lol,” a fan asked.

Nah, Caitlin has to take a penalty for that shirt fold,” said another.

Ultimately, there were hundreds of posts on Instagram and X calling out Clark for her inability to properly fold a shirt. What do you think? Could you have done better, and should Clark face a time penalty? Let us know in the comments below!
