Chris Rock Heeds Warning To Caleb Williams About NFL Draft Future With Convincing Pitch

USC quarterback Caleb Williams is projected to be the No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. There is a lot of time for things to change, and a team that doesn’t need a signal-caller may end up with the first pick, but it seems inevitable that the reigning Heisman Trophy winner will be off the board by pick No. 2.

Chris Rock is very hopeful that Williams will land in the Big Apple.

Assuming that the current records trend similarly throughout the rest of the season, either the Bears, Cardinals, Giants or Patriots will be in possession of the first pick come years end. The Rams, Packers, Buccaneers, Broncos, Titans, Falcons, Commanders, Colts, Raiders and Jets are also in the mix.

At this point, though, it looks like Chicago — through Carolina.

Chris Rock does not want Caleb Williams to play for the Bears. He wants him to play for the Jets.

The former was on campus at USC on Thursday to freak out while watching the Trojans hoop.

He made his pitch to the latter about his NFL Draft future, which was as bias as can be. Williams was doubled over, laughing hysterically at Rock’s attempt to convince him that he doesn’t want to live in Chicago or D.C. over New York.

Although Eli Manning set the precedent by refusing to play for the Chargers, the decision isn’t really up to Williams. Whichever team drafts him, drafts him.

However, if anyone can convince Williams to force his way to New York, it would be Rock. The 58-year-old comedian, whose daughter is a student at USC, has a way with words.

If the two stay in touch, maybe Williams will end up with the Jets. Rock will continue to speak it into existence as best he can, which could not be any funnier!
