Losing is taking its toll on USC’s Caleb Williams.

On Saturday night, Williams found himself in a shootout against Washington QB Michael Penix Jr.

While Williams was able to keep the game close, USC’s defense couldn’t stop the Washington offense.

Eventually, Washington squeaked by with a win and are on pace to possibly find themselves in the college football playoffs.

As for USC, their season is likely over, and they may be fighting for a bowl game.

After the game, a dejected Williams was seen looking depressed on the sidelines.

Williams went on to jump into the stands and cried while his mother consoled him.

While Williams lost the game, 21 NFL scouts saw him put up 312 yards and four TDS. It’s unlikely that his draft stock slipped based on this game.
