A California high school will be without its head football coach, who is alleged to have been secretly filming students in an on-campus locker room. Tracy High coach Jeffrey Pribble was arrested last week by authorities.
A hidden cell phone was discovered videoing in the locker room on Thursday. It was turned over to administration, leading to the arrest.
The Bulldogs are 3-0 this season. They will now be under new leadership.

Tracy High School is located in Northern California between San Jose and Sacramento. The city lies about an hour east of San Francisco and is the second-most populous area in San Joaquin County.
The school was founded in 1917 and has an enrollment of around 2,500 students. The football program is ranked 63rd in the state and has been led by Jeffrey Pribble since 2021.

Shockwaves were experienced in the days following the team’s third game of the 2026 campaign. Pribble was arrested last Friday on campus. More from KCRA Sacramento:

School resource officers and detectives investigated and found the phone belonged to Pribble.
Pribble has reportedly been placed on leave pending the outcome of an investigation. The school district released a statement on the situation after the fact.
“We understand that this news may raise serious concerns in the District community. The District too is concerned about the well-being of its students and staff and is committed to holding its employees to the highest professional and ethical standards.”
Questions surround Bulldogs’ future.
Pribble, who was also a PE teacher, will not coach with the current investigation ongoing. The team will be under new guidance with an upcoming game scheduled against Ripon this week.
Tracy is 3-0 on the year, having outscored opponents 146-27. It if fresh off a 56-0 shutout of Lathrop on the road. It will be forced to make its push towards the playoffs in suboptimal circumstances.
Pribble posted a record of 27-29 with the school. Tracy will look to continue momentum after his arrest.
