Some big news dropped on the Jacksonville Jaguars late Wednesday night, as one player was given a suspension.
For that reason, many are speculating that the team’s hand might be forced to select an offensive lineman in the NFL Draft on Thursday night.
According to Sports Illustrated, the Jaguars starting left tackle, Cam Robinson, was suspended “for violating the league’s performance-enhancing drug policy.”

The good news is that Robinson may only miss the beginning portion of the 2023 season. However, it could still be detrimental to a young team aiming to go back-to-back in the AFC South.
With that in mind, this suspension news very well could play a role in the Jaguars’ decision in the NFL Draft. Especially within the first few rounds.
At least that’s what football fans believe.
Wow! But now Jags can go OL 1st round

Really, the Jaguars could go anywhere on Thursday night.

This guy wants a change!
Time to trade up and get an OT I suppose @Jaguars. Tired of seeing us get DL year after year after year anyways.

Might be a perfect opportunity for a trade-back.
No sexy pick at 24 then… thanks Cam

Jacksonville has a rather talented team right now. But losing an offensive lineman like this isn’t ideal.
For that reason, it’ll be interesting to see what the Jaguars do in the first round. Up until this news break, many were speculating Jacksonville would select a defensive player.
But, this suspension news may just change things up for the Jaguars in the NFL Draft.
