Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence and his wife, Marissa Lawrence, recently celebrated their second wedding anniversary.

The couple, who had been dating since high school were married on April 10, 2021 in South Carolina, just a few days before Lawrence was taken with the number one overall pick by the Jags.

“2 years with the love of my life. Happy anniversary Trev,” Marissa Lawrence wrote in an Instagram post filled with photos of the two of them hanging out on a beach and at their wedding.

“Your love is the greatest gift I could ask for. It is patient, kind, considerate, understanding, silly, selfless, graceful.. I can go on and on… You are the best husband and partner! You make life so much sweeter and marriage so much fun. Today is a day about celebrating our love but really I wanna celebrate you and the husband you are… thank you for everything.

“It’s you + me forever. My best friend..! Here’s to 80 more.”

In the days prior to her anniversary Instagram post, Marissa Lawrence shared other photos from the trip that shows them hanging out with friends at the beach, in the hotel and chilling out on a boat in the ocean.

“Anni trip with your Besties,” Marissa wrote on one of the posts.

Marissa and Trevor began dating in May 2016 while attending the same high school in Cartersville, Georgia.

The then Marissa Mowry was a standout soccer player who went on to compete for Anderson University (a 16.5 mile drive from Clemson) while she earned her college degree in public relations.

“We met in fifth grade, so I won’t say I knew [she was The One] in fifth grade,” Trevor Lawrence told Us Weekly in February 2023. “We started dating seriously in 10th grade.”

“Easiest YES of my life!!!” Marissa wrote on Instagram after Trevor popped the question.
