The University of Nebraska football team has not been very good in recent years. However, that does not mean that its fanbase is any less passionate.

In fact, across the entire landscape of college football, Cornhuskers fans are amongst the best. Nebraska has sold out every single home game in Lincoln since 1962, which stretches back over 382 games. They show up, get loud, and try to bring their team home to victory every single week.

That is why Cam Taylor-Britt’s most recent comments on the Bengals fanbase are so impressive.

Taylor-Britt, who was drafted in the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft, played cornerback at Nebraska for four years. Now, in his first year in the NFL, he is getting a taste of what his new fans are like. He loves it and gave them the highest of praise.

Although Taylor-Britt has yet to see Paul Brown Stadium in full volume on a Sunday in October, he is already impressed by the people who will be cheering him on. As the second week of training camp came to a close, Taylor-Britt was asked about Bengals fans and the support he and his team have received after their remarkable run to the Super Bowl in 2021.

In response, he said that the Nebraska fanbase is “out of this world.” In comparison to the fine folks in Cincinnati who have showed out to training camp, it is a whole different level. Taylor-Britt didn’t know that Bengals fans are the way that they are and had a big ole smile on his face.

From someone who knows what Big Red Nation is like, Taylor-Britt’s first impression of Who Dey Nation is big.
