Cardale Jones apparently isn’t very fond of his former Ohio State coach Urban Meyer. Today, Meyer was forced to take AN administrative leave as the school investigates if he knew about domestic violence allegations against assistant coach Zach Smith back in 2015.
Text messages I have obtained, an exclusive interview w/the victim & other information I have learned shows Ohio State coach Urban Meyer knew in 2015 of domestic abuse allegations against a member of his coaching staff despite his denial last week https://t.co/fcxi8GKyeI

An underlying & significant question is how Ohio State deals w/potential Title IX issues after my report that Urban & Shelley Meyer, a RN & instructor at OSU’s college of nursing, knew about former WR coach Zach Smith’s alleged domestic incidents https://t.co/fcxi8GKyeI

Ohio State coach Urban Meyer placed on administrative leave as school launches investigation after my report. If Meyer knew about domestic violence issues, he would have violated his contract & can be fired with cause https://t.co/fcxi8GKyeI

After the Meyer report made the rounds on the Internet Jones appeared to take a shot at his former coach with this tweet this afternoon.

It is worth noting that Meyer publicly took a shot at Jones right before the 2016 NFL draft.

“A really good skill set, intellectual, very smart, wasn’t necessarily very good at school,” Meyer said. “I wonder if that kind of set him back a little bit. That’s one difference between pro and college — now he doesn’t have to worry about classes and going to school and all that stuff. He can focus completely on football.”
