NFL teams have shown interest in trading for Cardinals speedy wide receiver Marquise “Hollywood” Brown.

Brown, who is entering the final year of his rookie contract and will hit NFL free agency in 2024, isn’t likely to be moved despite the interest, according to The Athletic’s Dianna Russini.

The Arizona Cardinals have received calls on wide receiver Marquise ‘Hollywood’ Brown, but the team isn’t looking to move him,” Russini stated

Russini noted the team has 6 picks in the first three rounds of the 2024 NFL Draft, so they aren’t in a desperate needs to move players for picks.

So far this season, Brown has been a standout player, leading the Cardinals in catches, yards, and touchdowns with 29 catches for 334 yards and three scores. Behind him on the depth chart, Arizona has talented young receivers like Rondale Moore and Michael Wilson.

What adds an interesting twist to this story is Brown’s close friendship with the Cardinals’ quarterback, Kyler Murray. Murray, who is making his way back from an ACL injury that sidelined him last season, seems to have a strong connection with Brown.

As the trade deadline approaches, the Cardinals’ stance on Hollywood Brown remains clear: they’re not actively looking to trade him, but if an interested team comes with an overwhelming over they can’t refuse? he only has half a season left on his contract, which makes things interesting.
