Cqrli Lloyd is an all-time legend of American sports. The attacking midfielder scored big goal after big goal in her career for the US Women’s Soccer National Team en route to two Olympic gold medals and two World Cup titles during her illustrious career for the Stars and Stripes.

After retiring following the 2020 Olympics in 2021 in Tokyo, Japan, Lloyd now works for Fox Sports as a studio analyst. And, she was none too pleased early Tuesday morning following a downright awful performance from the USWNT in the Women’s World Cup.

Needing just a draw to advance, but likely needing a blowout win to win the group ahead of the Netherlands, they tied Portugal 0-0 in a listless, unfocused, and sloppy performance that elicited smatterings of boos from the diehard American fans that made the trip to Auckland, New Zealand. In fact, the USA was saved by the post with just minutes remaining, with the woodwork being the only thing that kept them in the tournament.

After the game, Carli Lloyd, along with fellow studio analyst Alexi Lalas, was red-hot at the performance of the team. And, when Carli Lloyd saw footage of the team dancing after the match, she about lost her marbles.

As someone who woke up at 3AM with three hours of sleep to watch the match, that was insulting. There was nothing to be dancing about, that’s for sure. Especially from those three players, who were dreadful at best.

She also called out the team’s lack of passion and commitment to winning.

It’s hard to disagree with her as someone who has watched every minute of the tournament. They have no hunger or desire whatsoever.

The USWNT does advance to the round of 16, where they will likely play Sweden next
