Carlos Alcaraz has already had a ton of outstanding moments on the tennis court, despite being just 20-years-old. He’s already won two Grand Slams and is the second-ranked player in the world.

But, he was in a highlight clip for something that had nothing to do with his prowess on the court. In fact, Carlos Alcaraz was attacked by a swarm of bees!

Carlos Alcaraz was taking on fellow top player Alexander Zverev in the quarterfinals at the Indian Wells Open in Indian Wells, California on Thursday. Just a few minutes into the first set, a swarm of bees attacked Carlos Alcaraz!

Alcaraz left the court, and the match has undergone a significant delay while they wait for the bees to clear. While this does seem like something that would never happen, it has happened in the sports world recently. Bees stopped a game between the Rockies and Orioles last season in Major League Baseball.

Carlos Alcaraz seemed to be handling it well.

I’m sure this is something that no one in attendance will ever forget.
