Carlos Boozer Is Now Starring In A Vasectomy Ad For An Underwear Company

via SAXX Underwear

In case you’re wondering what Carlos Boozer is up to in retirement…

It turns out he still has ball-handling on his mind.

SAXX Underwear enlisted Boozer as a pitchman for their latest commercial spot, promoting a concept they’re calling  “the VaSAXXtomy Registry.” The commercial features the two-time NBA All-Star and former Duke national champion giving an affirming nod to two basketballs, hanging on a couch in a robe.

Appropos considering that SAXX features a patented BallPark Pouch™ – a hammock-shaped compartment built into every pair of underwear. According to the company, it’s designed to provide “friction-free support below the belt.”

Side note: I have two pairs from back when the brand worked with us in partnership a couple of years ago around the holidays. They rule.

The gist for Boozer’s promotional stunt is this: If you get sniped during March Madness, as many men often do (previously: the Buffalo Wild Wings Jewel Stool), you can register your vasectomy so your friends and family can send you “buttery-soft undergarments” from SAXX.

You’ll also get a free ice pack upon the first order placed, for optimum chilling downtown.

Think of it as a gift registry for the your family jewels. According to the brand, the registry will remain open indefinitely for future vasectomy recipients to take advantage of.

Gotta give props where props are due – it takes some cajones to make an ad like this.

Bravo, Carlos Boozer.
