CBS has just released its ratings data for Week 3 of the 2023 NFL season, and the numbers once again prove that the NFL remains the king of sports.

The NFL ON CBS has dominated viewership, marking its best September performance in 13 years, with nearly 19 million viewers (18.698).

Sunday’s coverage, highlighted by the Patriots-Jets game, drew in 17.518 million viewers according to the release which makes it CBS Sports’ most-watched September singleheader in 12 years. That represents a remarkable 19% increase compared to the viewership for the same week in 2022.

Furthermore, Paramount+ also had a reason to celebrate as it recorded its most-streamed NFL singleheader ever, reflecting the growing trend of fans choosing digital platforms for their NFL fix.

The NFL has consistently shattered previous ratings records week after week, and there seems to be no sign of this trend slowing down.

The addition of Taylor Swift into the NFL world with her rumored relationship to Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce is should only add interest this season.
