CeeDee Lamb was seen brutally roasting Cowboys teammate Deuce Vaughn this week on Instagram. The Dallas wide receiver trolled the rookie running back over his small stature.
The joke has since gone viral on social media, leading to a hilarious response from NFL fans and followers.
Vaughn stands just 5-foot-6 as he enters his first year as a pro, but he hasn’t let that stop him in the past. As a versatile tailback at Kansas State, he totaled nearly 5,000 yards from scrimmage over his three-year career.
That included a pair of 1,000-yard rushing outputs as well as two seasons with over 400 receiving yards. He wasn’t bad as a kick returner either, averaging more than 20 yards per attempt as a freshman.
Despite the immense production, the two-time All-American is often the butt of jokes due to that size.

Through his first few weeks of preseason action, many have joked that he looks like a child when lining up next to the monsters in the NFL.
Again, he’s done nothing but impress thus far.

He already has fans putting together highlight reels of his brief NFL career. Zeke who?
how likely is it that Deuce Vaughn is more efficient this year than Zeke was after Jerry gave him the $90,000,000 pic.twitter.com/NFZL3dK9xX

On Wednesday, a teammate took part in the mockery, becoming the latest person to troll Vaughn for his stature.

The Dallas wideout posted a kids’ size pair of gloves and cleats, saying, “Deuce, stop leaving your cleats and your gloves in the locker room. This is not your home!”
The NFL world immediately reacted to the video, reposting the slight on social media. Here’s what they were saying.
“CeeDee Lamb didn’t have to do this to Deuce Vaughn,” wrote NFL personality Ari Meirov.
“This is some great rookie hazing,” posted Barstool Sports.
“Nah CeeDee exposing Deuce Vaughn was wrong,” tweeted the DraftKings account.
Jokes aside, Vaughn seems to be settling right in with the Cowboys. We’ll see what type of impact he’s able to make in his first season.
