Embiid’s postgame actions apparently annoyed Celtics players who wanted him to “man up” and face them after he did so much trash talking during the series.

In the locker room after the game, several Celtics sounded annoyed by Embiid walking off the floor without paying respect, especially after he talked so much trash. “At least man up,” one player said.
During the postgame press conference Embiid made sure to praise the Celtics for beating the Sixers.
It’s hard because I feel we had a pretty good chance of beating them but we got to give them a lot of respect,” “They played well, they played well together, they made some tough shots during the series and they defended us pretty well too so we got to give them a lot of credit. It sucks but you got to learn from it and come back next year and do better.”
Embiid should have probably stayed on the court to shake hands with the Celtics but he’s young and he can learn from this
