Game Prediction: The Boston Celtics just came off a do-or-die game 6 win in Philadelphia to force a game 7. In that game the Celtics found a combination that worked with starting Robert Williams lll over Derrick White. He ended up giving them a solid 28 minutes on the defensive end, which in return made every bucket tough for Joel Embiid. Although the Celtics blew a significant early lead, Jason Tatum came alive in the 4th quarter to help secure the victory for the Celtics. Moving into game 7, the Celtics will stick with Robert Williams, which is a recipe that proved to work in game 6. The game will be a defensive battle, and I think it will stay close through the first half until the Celtics go on a big run in the second half to pull the game away. Expect a big game from Jayson Tatum who has averaged 24.4 points, 8.2 rebounds, and 3.8 assist in his previous game 7s.The only way the 76ers have a chance in this game is if James Harden performs like he did in games 1 and 4 where he averaged 43.5 points, but I just don’t see that happening. In his last two game 7s he’s averaged just 19.5 points on 28% shooting, and at times has just flat out disappeared. With that being said, my final prediction is the Celtics beating the Sixers 103-93.
