College football fans received some good news this week when it comes to their future viewing pleasure. The CFP dropped its schedules for the 2024 and 2025 seasons.

Those campaigns will be the first to boast a 12-team playoff, which gives fans even more action to watch. The committee also took into account the NFL, which will also be in the midst of its playoffs.

The result is one epic weekend in the football world.

The focus, here, is on the CFP semifinals, which the committee scheduled for a Thursday and Friday. That third round of the College Football Playoff coincides with the NFL Wildcard.

With that in mind, the schedule makers created an absolutely epic weekend.

The final four of the CFP will be played just prior to the weekend, which will be a preview for the NFL Playoff games on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.

Fans are ecstatic.

Others chimed in with responses of their own.

One person said, “I’ve never been more overwhelmed by a tweet in my entire life. Didn’t think it was possible.” It’s really happening.

Someone else said, “I.CAN’T. WAIT.”

We have a year to wait before this football nirvana comes into existence. At least it gives us something to look forward to during the upcoming offseason.
