Chad Johnson was one of the league’s best wide receivers during the 2000s with the Cincinnati Bengals. He teamed up with Carson Palmer, TJ Houshmandzadeh and Rudi Johnson to form one of the league’s most explosive offenses.

The Oregon State product had six straight 1000-yard receiving seasons from 2002-2007, leading the league in yards from 2003-2007. he was known as an exceptional route runner with a knack for getting open, and was as sure-handed as they came.

Since his retirement, he’s routinely gone viral on Twitter, where has one of the best accounts on the website. I’m not saying that for the sake of this article. It’s truly hilarious. And, few sports stars interact with the public on Twitter more than Chad Johnson does. Recently, he was added to the panel on ‘Inside the NFL’

On his podcast with Shannon Sharpe, ‘Nightcap with Unc and Ocho’, the two were discussing the soft tissue injuries to players like Cooper Kupp and others. What does Chad Johnson think is causing the problem? Players eating too many vegetables, among other things. Take a listen.

Are players eating too clean and not getting a well-rounded diet? I’m certainly not a nutritionist. But, Chad Johnson didn’t miss much time in his career, so maybe he’s on to something.
