The Los Angeles Chargers had a monster offseason as they have the Super Bowl within their sights. They should be one of the best teams offensively, but the defense is going to be a problem for opponents as well. With the opening week of the NFL season kicking off soon, Derwin James delivers a strong message the fanbase is going to be hyped about.
Derwin James Claims The Chargers Defense Is Loaded With Dawgs
During an appearance on the Pat McAfee Show, the Chargers safety explains his excitement for the 2022 season. All eyes are on the offense right now. However, Derwin James is making sure people respect the defense as well. There is no doubt Los Angeles is loaded on both sides of the ball and James is making sure we’re all aware.

Derwin James is out here like that Bishop Luers High School kid calling everyone in the state of Indiana a dawg. If the Chargers’ defense lives up to his expectations, then LA is going to be a force to reckon with in the NFL. Even if they have to play in a loaded AFC West division.

We’ll see how the Chargers fair this season. Although there is a lot to be excited about, the entire AFC is stacked. Regardless, LA fans should feel confident with their chances. Especially considering they have one of the best rosters on paper right now. If they can ensure a spot in the playoffs, anything can happen.
