The Chargers fan who went viral during “Monday Night Football” for her wild emotions has squashed all rumors of her being a paid actor, according to TMZ.

Merrianne Do, who gained sudden fame for her passionate support for the Chargers during their loss to the Cowboys at SoFi Stadium on Monday Night Football, found herself at the center of speculations suggesting that she might be a planted figure by the team or league to grab some manufactured attention.

Adding fuel to the fire, a picture of her wearing a Vikings jersey emerged on social media, raising doubts about her loyalty as a Chargers fan. However, Do promptly responded to these inquiries.

Speaking to TMZ, she said, “I grew up in Minnesota before moving to California almost 20 years ago. I don’t think you have to be a single-team fan. I love my Chargers, and I’m not gonna deny my Vikings. At the end of the day, yes, I’ve been a Vikings fan, I’ve been through that journey as a Vikings fan and still am, but I’m here in LA for the past 20 years.”

In all likelihood, she’s just a devoted fan, and that should be perfectly fine, despite the social media frenzy attempting to take her down.
