Charles Barkley really has no filter.

During an interview two weeks ago. Barkley lamented that he was going to retire in a few years when he becomes 60 because he feels like he can’t joke around anymore during the current cancel culture era.

“Nowadays, the pc people are out overboard right now. I can’t imagine you guys doing a show every day, how crazy it is for you. It’s gotten so out of hand right now,” Barkley explained. “You can’t even have fun nowadays without these jackasses trying to get you canceled and things like that. Just having fun talking about sports.”

“I’m having to hang on for a couple more years until I’m 60 and then they can kiss my ass. I’m only working until 60, I’ve already told them that. I’m not working till the day I die, that’s just stupid and if I don’t have enough money by now, I’m an idiot anyway.”

Barkley is apparently not afraid of getting canceled because he still makes wild remarks on a weekly basis. On Saturday night during the final “Inside The NBA” episode of the season, Barkley called his boss Tara August a “cougar that’s not in the wild” which caught viewers at home off guard.

For those that don’t know a “cougar” is an attractive older woman that tries to seduce younger men.

NBA twitter had some interesting reactions to Chuck’s “cougar” comment.
