Charles Barkley Reveals His Bosses Won’t Let Him Joke About San Antonio And Their ‘Big Ole Women’ Due To Cancel Culture

Charles Barkley has been forced to retire his joke about San Antonio and their women.

For years, Barkley has made jokes about the “big ole women” in San Antonio on “Inside The NBA” whenever they showed Spurs highlights on the show.

On Monday, Barkley went on the Grant & Danny show on 106.7 The Fan in Washington, D.C., where he revealed that his bosses told him he could no longer joke about San Antonio and their women because someone complained about it and they’re worried about getting canceled.

“If you crack a joke the wrong way, they’re like no,no,no you crossed the line…I mean they won’t even let me talk about San Antonio anymore, when I’m always talking about their big ole’ women down in San Antonio, they’re like one lady wrote an article and I’m like first of all I didn’t call anybody personally fat in San Antonio, I was just joking around…So you’re going to let this one lady, We’ve been having fun with this for 10-15 years”

Barkley went on to reveal that he was going to try to make it for at least a few more years before retiring at 60 but admits that the job isn’t the same because he’s not allowed to have fun anymore on the show due to people trying to get him canceled.

“That’s all we ever talk about behind the scenes is be careful going in this direction, I’m like yo man we can’t even have fun anymore. we’ve had fun all these years and now all of a sudden in the last year and a half everybody is trying to get everybody fired and it really sucks.”
