Charles Barkley and Shaq have such a great “frenemy” rivalry on TNT’s hit show Inside the NBA. The two NBA all-time greats are always talking trash with the crew.

Sometimes, that trash talk spills over to times when they’re not on set. That’s what happened during TNT’s The Match on Monday night.

This version of The Match is a co-ed battle pitting Rory McIlroy and Rose Zhang against Max Homa and Lexi Thompson. It was the first co-ed battle of the The Match events.

Charles Barkley is doing the commentary alongside Inside the NBA host Ernie Johnson. Make no mistake, the participating golfers are trying to hit good shots. But, the whole event is pretty lighthearted.

Enter Sir Charles. No one is better at quick quips and one-liners than Barkley is, and he had a good one on Monday.

Of course, Shaq is very big. At 7-foot-1 and well over 300 lbs during his playing days, he is truly a mountain of a man.

But, that’s a low blow, Chuck. I’m sure Shaq will have a retort this week. Maybe it will have something to with Shaq having four championship rings and Charles Barkley having zero.
