Just because Charles Barkley doesn’t muse like Edgar Allan Poe or speak in haikus does not mean that the man isn’t a poet.

Over the last 25 years or so, Barkley has earned a reputation as one of the best sports pundits in America due to the forthrightness of his analysis. Barkley will always say whatever is on his mind, regardless of the topic.

Naturally, it’s led to some iconic quotes from the Hall of Famer over the years, such as “Sometimes that light at the end of the tunnel is a train” or “I can be bought. If they paid me enough, I’d work for the Klan.”

Luckily for the sports world, despite the fact that he’s now 60 years old, he still hasn’t lost his fastball, as evidenced by some recent comments he made about his longtime rival Skip Bayless.

Barkley hasn’t been shy about his feelings towards the Fox Sports 1 personality over the years, and that doesn’t seem like it’s going to change anytime soon, as the Round Mound of Rebound recently said that he sometimes wishes he was heavier so he could “hate him [Bayless] with even more weight.”

“We got so many idiots fools and jacka—- on television now, everybody has to have a hot take,” Barkley said during a recent appearance on The Dan Patrick Show.

“Let me tell you how stupid some of these guys are on television,” Barkley continued. “You know how much I hate Skip Bayless. I hate him with every fiber. Sometimes he makes me want to gain weight back so I can hate him with even more weight.”

Unsurprisingly, Barkley’s comments about Bayless went viral on Twitter, as a photo o the quote as racked up over 43,000 likes.
