It’s been a win-win for patrons and programs in the new era of NIL. Some schools do it better than others.

Where can you find the cheapest beer in college football? Oddspedia released a study reflecting findings from the 2025 season. Those totals have since been updated to show changes in the 2026 campaign.

For fans planning future visits to campuses around the nation, they can now take beer prices into consideration. Here’s where your dollar goes the furthest.

The study’s findings suggest that the average beer price at the 100 schools surveyed was just north of $10. The most expensive team, Stanford, came in at twice that price.

There are at least 18 college football stadiums that sell brewskis for an average of $8 or less. The team at the top of this list allows guests to grab a drink for just $3 a pop!

At these venues, alcohol is both easily accessible and fairly priced. Schools range from Group of 6 representatives all the way up to national title contenders.

Texas is one of the biggest brands in college football. They probably wouldn’t have much issue selling beer regardless of price. With that said, they’ve made an effort to keep costs low for attendees.

Longhorns fans can enjoy a beverage for an average of $8. That matches nine other schools that offer similar pricing.

Aggie Memorial Stadium

At New Mexico State, fans can keep some cash in their wallets thank to an average beer price of $8 a glass. While it’s higher than you might pay at your local watering hole, it’s on par with an offering you might see at your favorite brewery.

Aggie Memorial Stadium holds just under 30,000 fans. With an overall record of 345-629-14, those patrons are thankful for the low beer prices as the team often struggles to produce wins on the field.

Bridgeforth Stadium

At James Madison, fans can enjoy frosty brews for $8 each. Unlike the previously mentioned Aggies, they get to guzzle those drinks down while rooting on a winner.

Gerald J. Ford Stadium

The second major Power 4 program from the state of Texas to make the list is SMU. The school was one of the first to start selling beer in 2014.

Kansas State is the first Big 12 program to make the list, and it’s bested by just one conference school in terms of cheap beer.

The Wildcats offer brewskis for $8 a bottle. They are outmatched only by rival Kansas in terms of Big 12 beer prices.

Bobcat Stadium (UFCU Stadium)

The Lone Star State is represented well on this list. In fact, no other state is featured more often. It doesn’t matter the size of the school or fanbase, one thing remains. Beer is cheap in these college football stadiums.

At Texas State, patrons can buy beer for $8. It’s made gameday even more enjoyable for an up-and-coming program.

Doyt L. Perry Stadium

Bowling Green is the first of three Ohio-based universities to make the cut, selling beer for an average of $8. The Falcons are also one of three MAC teams to appear on the list.

The program has seen ups and downs across a 65-year history in Division I. The beer prices, however, have remained the same – low!

Burgess–Snow Field at JSU Stadium

We finally make our way to the southeast with Jacksonville State in Alabama appearing on the list. Previously regarded as one of the most feared members of the FCS, the Gamecocks made the jump to Conference USA in 2022.

Since, they’ve posted three consecutive nine-win seasons. Fans have enjoyed that success with the help of $8 beers. Jacksonville State is one of two programs on this list from the state of Alabama.

Fred C. Yager Stadium

The state of Georgia is represented just once on this list, though pro venue Mercedes-Benz Stadium has been applauded for affordable beer pricing in the past. The school featured is not one of the heavyweights.

Another Lone Star State representative, North Texas tops the list for Texas schools. The Mean Green offer $7 beers to guests in Apogee Stadium.

Houchens Industries-L.T. Smith Stadium

Western Kentucky is one of two schools from the state to make the list. Selling beers for just $7 a pop, Houchens Industries-L.T. Smith Stadium is one of four venues at the price point.
