Watching The Cubs Sing Karaoke In A Bar Is Like Watching A F*cking Boy Band, ‘Cause Bros Have Pipes

All of us love to pound a bunch of brews and reluctantly head up to a microphone to sing some karaoke every once in awhile, and a couple of Chicago Cubs players are no different.

Flashing their “golden” voices, Anthony Rizzo, Travis Wood, John Lackey, Jon Lester, Dexter Fowler and Justin Grimm were among the Cubbies who performed a few songs for fans in a Lincoln Park bar recently.

Busting out some *NSYNC, Old Crow Medicine Show and Biggie, the Cubs were a bigger hit for their song choices than they are for their baseball playing—which, by the way, they’re pretty good at, too, currently owning the best record in the big leagues.

It’s too bad none of the players sung the “Go Cubs Go” song fans do after a win. Maybe next time.
