Lisa Lopez-Galvan, the woman who was killed during the tragic shooting at the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl parade last week, will reportedly be laid to rest wearing a Chiefs jersey.

According to reports Lopez-Galvan will be laid to rest in the jersey of Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker, who released a statement about the situation.

“My wife Isabelle and I are heartbroken by the murder of Lisa due to degenerate violence. Murder is a sin that cries out to God for vengeance and I pray the men involved in this tragedy will be brought to justice,” Butker said.

“Hearing that she was a fan of my outspokenness for our shared Catholic Faith makes this even more personal. I am honored to provide a jersey to the family for her to wear. While the family is mourning their loss and grappling with their numerous injuries, I will continue to pray for their healing and the repose of Lisa soul.”

The funeral for Lopez-Galvan will be held on Friday, February 23, and she will be buried on Saturday, February 24.

Two people have since been arrested and charged in connection with the shooting, as Dominic Miller and Lyndell Mays each face charges of 2nd-degree murder, two counts of armed criminal action, and unlawful use of a weapon.

According to court documents, the two men were strangers who pulled out guns and began firing within seconds of starting an argument. Both men were shot, and they have been hospitalized since the shooting, Jackson County prosecutor Jean Peters Baker said during a news conference. They are each being held on a $1 million bond. Butker, 28 years old, was selected by the Carolina Panthers in the 7th round of the 2017 NFL Draft, but was released just prior to the start of the season. Butker then signed with the Chiefs and has been the team’s starting kicker since.
