UFC 292 isn’t until August but it’s an exciting card nonetheless. However, one fight fans were looking forward too has recently been called off.

Henry Cejudo announced that he had to withdraw from his fight against Chito Vera due to a shoulder injury.

The former double champ made the announcement on Thursday. In his video, he went on to name numerous opponents he would like to fight after his injury, with Vera not being one of them.

Here is Cejudo’s full clip detailing what’s going on with his shoulder.

With that said, Chito Vera is now left without an opponent for the time being. The UFC is likely to find a replacement. If they don’t, then Vera will have to fight on a different date.

But not long after Henry Cejudo’s announcement, Chito Vera shared his reaction. He uses just two words and it might be the most relatable video you’ll see.

Just perfect. I might just save this video and use it the next time someone tells me bad news.

It sucks that we can’t watch Cejudo and Vera go at it in the Octagon, as it’s an incredibly fun matchup for both fighters.

But now, the UFC will have to figure something out for Chito Vera while Henry Cejudo rests his shoulder. But fans seem to have an idea of who they would like to see step in on short notice.

I couldn’t agree more.

Do it!

We’ll have to wait and see what Dana White and the UFC decide. But it’s fun to speculate.

With that said, keep a look out for updates regarding Chito Vera, as the organization should find a replacement sooner, or later.
