Cincy was mere seconds from being defeated by Purdue during the second round of NCAA tournament but Troy Caupain had other ideas. The Bearcats’ guard drove to the lane and hit an epic layup that rolled around for what seemed to be an eternity before falling to send the game to overtime.
Cincinnati was then able beat Purdue in overtime 66-65 to advance to the third round of the tourney.
