Jon Jones is finally returning to the UFC and fight fans are more than thrilled to see him in the octagon once again. Especially since he’s making his heavyweight debut.
Well, Jones isn’t getting a cakewalk for his first fight in over 1,000 days. Ciryl Gane is ready for the matchup as he seems excited to face Jones in the cage.
In fact, he’s so excited that he shows Jon Jones respect while discussing the upcoming brawl. First, he mentions how excited he is to face a GOAT in the UFC. But, Gane is more than confident he can win the fight as well. Listen to a couple of his takes about Jones below.

This really should be a great fight. Ciryl Gane has a unique style that really could trouble Jon Jones. Additionally, Jones’ absence from fighting for so long could prove to be a problem for him. Regardless, Las Vegas has Jones as the early favorite for now.
In the end, this should be a fun matchup. It’s too bad we’re likely never going to see Francis Ngannou face these guys, but Gane and Jones are high-level fighters. They will likely produce an exciting fight. Especially considering they’re likely to keep it on their feet throughout most of the fight.
We’ll see how it plays out. The fight doesn’t take place until March, so there is plenty of time for both Ciryl Gane and Jon Jones to prepare. Look for the trash-talking to eventually unfold as the fight date approaches.
