The Los Angeles Clippers are one of the true NBA title contenders of the 2022-2023 season. The team sits at +2300, the eighth-best odds to win the championship this season.

Of course, the squad is led by its two superstars, Kawhi Leonard and Paul George.

It gives them an argument to have the best two two-way wings in the game. Though, Paul George thinks he might be the best two-way wing of all time.

He listed himself on the all-time top five team for two-way players along with Gary Payton, Michael Jordan, Kevin Garnett and Hakeem Olajuwon. Quite the take when he may not be the best on the Los Angeles Clippers.

Still, George is a star. He’s averaging 24 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists this year for the Los Angeles Clippers, and has helped them to the five-seed in the ultra-competitive Western conference with under ten games to go in the season.

But, during the team’s 101-100 loss to the surging Oklahoma City Thunder, George left the game with an injury. And, it’s important to remember the gnarly injury he suffered while playing for team USA in the Summer of 2014.

Man, this stinks. I think everyone wants to see the healthy Clippers in the playoffs and see what they can do.

After the game, the Clippers provided an update on the star small forward, or lack thereof.

Yeah, it’s never good for the player to be leaving the arena altogether. Later, Clippers coach Ty Lue also said there was no update available.

Hopefully, this is just a big scare and he will be healthy for the playoffs.
