CM Punk Shared Some Very Inspiring Words With Mickey Gall Immediately Following His Loss At UFC 203

CM Punk may have suffered a horrible beatdown at the hands of Mickey Gall at UFC 203, but what he said to Gall immediately after the fight was pretty cool.

We already saw how gracious Punk was in defeat during the press conference following the fight, but he was even more so in the immediate aftermath while still in the Octagon.

In a preview clip from UFC’s latest edition of The Thrill and the Agony you can hear Punk giving Gall some words of advice that were truly inspiring.

Listen to me. Don’t ever say you don’t belong, okay? You always belong. You’ve got to believe in yourself. You’re obviously a better man than I am, okay. Don’t ever fucking short yourself. Everybody else wants to short you. You know, I believed in myself. You’ve got to believe in yourself as much as I believe in me.

Several fighters may be mad at how much money CM Punk made, but there’s no arguing that he put butts in the seats on eyes on the TV and handled himself like a true professional. Whether he ever sees the inside of the Octagon again, however, is a whole other question.
