It’s not easy being a professional athlete on social media. They try their best to connect with their fans by sharing positive news and stories, and by giving people a little insight into their own actual lives. Sometimes that angers “fans”, however — to some salty individuals, athletes are no more than utilities; in their eyes, an athlete should only care about their sport and nothing else because winning makes fans happy.
Today, Colin Kaepernick got yet another taste of that when he shared his “recovery day” agenda on Twitter and got criticized by a fan. Kaepernick wasn’t having any of that though — he put Stephen Batten on blast for the whole world to see.
